A total of 18 ramblers including ourselves met near the entrance to Hexton Hall Lodge on a rather chilly morning for the 1st June !!
We
walked along the lane & up some rather deep steps. At the top of the hill we paused for a group photo.
We continued
along the Chiltern Way, leading to the side of a plantation which led to
the main road to Hitchin which we crossed to a stile.

Waiting to climb over the stile.

We then all climbed to the
top of Deacon hill for a nice coffee/ snack break with some walkers sitting on the trig point.

The walk continued
along the top of Pegsdon hills & past noon hill, dropping down back
to Pegsdon where we started.
We all seemed to have an enjoyable morning & we thank you all for joining us. Debbie & Nick
